“ am by no means an Indian food connoisseur, however I enjoy eating food and when it's good I will rave about it. I frequent other Indian restaurants, but the street food option reeled me in. We had a group of 12 people on a Wednesday evening and had the absolute best meal and had the friendliest interaction with all the employees. Not know much about the items, we asked them to make choices for us.. and bit did they pick out the best options. We all shared everything that was brought the table. Rice is my all time favorite food (weird I know) that was the best veggie rice I have ever eaten (and I eat rice with almost every meal and most times just eat the rice), The dosa was flavorful, the waterballs as I called them (Pani Puri) were delish - I really liked the ones with the yogurt in them.. The hot and sour soup was very comforting. We asked for one of the Paneer dishes to be spicy and boy did they mean spicy. It was absolutely delish! The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating and dealt with our many questions about the restaurant, the food and were super friendly! We have already planned our next visit for next week and I can't wait to try all the other items on the menu! Thanks for such an amazing dining experience! PS... I am not even vegetarian and I didn't miss the fact there wasn't any meat. ”
“ The Honest Vegetarian Restaurant is a must-visit that just might change the way you view vegetarian dining forever! I don’t understand why there are negative reviews! This restaurant is awesome—better than any other restaurant I have visited in Jacksonville. They treat you like family, and the food is outstanding. You can ask them to create a combination just the way you want it, so please don’t pay attention to those negative reviews. Give it a try! If you’ve already visited, consider going again and let them know how you’d like your meal customized. You might just experience the best meal you've ever had! During my visit, I told them my desired combination, and they executed it perfectly. They even came to ask me how the food was—has anybody ever done that for you in Jacksonville? I think not! I’m never leaving this restaurant for another one. This restaurant is a must-try! Guys keep up the good work ”
“ Didn't realize this place was here. I got out of class early and was looking for something quick that wasn't fast food. I liked up the menu, and even for this picky eater, there were so many options that sounded good. I ended up getting the Aloo Matar with cheese sandwich. I had to taste it before I pulled out of the parking lot and finished the triangle. It was so good. I didn't realize there would be cashews in it (you could probably ask not to have them), and probably wouldn't have ordered this had i known. I'm so glad I did. The texture is not weird. And it tastes amazing. I will be going back to try many more things. ”
“ So from from my honest review that the restaurant perfect is very nice. I like the photos that represented in all of that I’m just confused about those lightbulbs are not on but you know what it’s OK. So anyways with the food, what’s this called Baba G please explain it again. I’ll give it a solid 6.5 out of 10.5 out of 10. That’s pretty good. That’s pretty good. So what’s the second dish called? It’s fried and lots of flavor. OK very good. Very good. I’ll give that one. A solid nine out of 10. That’s good. That’s perfect. I loved that the additional things that you get especially the Gula job. Good job with that with a nice onions and this one, I didn’t really like it I’ll give that one like a two out of 10 pickle. It’s too much too much for me. What’s this song called the Sandwich? Please tell me what it has with potatoes and all the vegetables. The third one is just like kind of salad like chop salad and it’s cheese me personally for that one me personally for that one I like the concept I love it. It’s very good but for me I’m a sandwich guy OK and I am also a saucy guy. If there was sauce to dip my thing like my sandwich in ketchup ketchup is good but it’s for the fries obviously, that’s the concept but me am more of a saucy guy, but that’s my thing so I can’t really critique it based on that but it based on flavor It’s lovely. I’ll give that one an 8.5 out of 10. But there is one complaint though I was confused why there wasn’t glass cups because you know it’s a nice fancy restaurant in your serving plastic cups. So what you’re saying this is a family restaurant. This is more of a family restaurant like a fancy restaurant. OK thank you very much. Well must must must visit. ”

“ Update Dec 2024: Tasty Indo-Chinese items this time. Good service. Nice ambiance. Authentic Indian flavors. They were super busy today, but as advised by staff, we stayed clear of our fav South Indian varieties and ordered Indo-Chinese items. Food came out super fast. I am glad they set HONEST expectations and deliver on it. Good job guys and gals First Visit: Tasty Indian food and drinks. This is Food Indians crave for. I recommend this place. “ Delicious food with very fresh ingredients. It's a hole in the wall, diner type atmosphere. Super comfy and casual. Loved the comfy booths and the fast service. They have vegan and gluten free options. Everything we ordered was cooked to absolute perfections. It's my new favorite Indian restaurant. ”
“ I just ordered a Honest Thali to-go and it was one of the best culinary experiences for me. I was so happy that I even called them to appreciate their food. The reason it stood out for me was because it tasted fresh and home cooked! The Thali had 3 curries, rice, 2 rotis, raita, pickle, papad and a sweet. So a complete meal and lot of food. And it was packaged in a plate with compartments so ready to eat. In the past I have had their dosa and pani puri. Those were great too! ”
